Alliance for Female Equality : ウィキペディア英語版 | Alliance for Female Equality
Alliance for Female Equality was a feminist organisation formed in Russia at the beginning of the 20th century. The alliance demanded that women be given political equality and the right to enter various professions. The Alliance was dissolved after the defeat of the first Russian revolution of 1905-1907. It suffered from a lack of solidarity with working women, something that was a strong topic of contention in Russia at the time. They fronted many efforts for voting rights and working equality that was spearheaded in the factories by working women, but were considered bourgeois and out of touch. They effectively spurred a lower class feminist movement in Russia that sought to achieve more universal goals for the working class.〔(Introduction to the Book The Social Basis of the Women's Question )〕 ==References==
